Youths and Adolescents Engagement on Child Marriage

In the vibrant and culturally diverse landscape of Madhesh Province in Nepal, addressing the complex issue of child marriage requires a dynamic and inclusive approach. Recognizing the pivotal role that youth and adolescents play in shaping the future, the “Engagement of Youth and Adolescents for Intergenerational Dialogue on Child Marriage and U-Report” program emerges as a beacon of change and empowerment. This program acknowledges that the voices of youth are powerful catalysts for social transformation.

Child marriage, a deeply entrenched practice in some communities, poses significant challenges, hindering the realization of the full potential of young girls and boys. This program acknowledges that the voices of youth are powerful catalysts for social transformation. By fostering intergenerational dialogue and leveraging the innovative U-Report platform, this initiative strives to empower young minds to be advocates for change.
