The programme outputs are:
1. CLFG framework is adopted by selected local governments that promotes child participation.
2. Strengthened public finance for children and citizen’s engagement to mainstream women and children’s agenda in planning and budgeting.
3. Strengthened social protection including girl’s empowerment.
4. Children and people from marginalized groups have improved access to basic services ( health, nutrition, education, WASH, Child protection and social protection etc.) through skill based trainings. 
5. People with disability have improved access to social protection allowance.
6. The local governments have strengthened grievance handling mechanism.
7. Strengthened social protection system that is inclusive and shock responsive.

LIFE Nepal is executing the EPWN programme with technical and financial support from EU and UN agencies across 12 local governments in Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Rautahat, Bara, and Parsa districts in the Madhesh Province of Nepal. Through this project:
– Three days of Child-Friendly Local Governance (CFLG) training for local government officials completed.
– Coordination with local government entities established.
– The assessment regarding CFLG alongside budget allocations in all 12 local governments completed.
– Consultations undertaken to provide support to local governments for the adoption of CFLG practices.
– An orientation session on Empowered Women Prosperous Nepal (EWPN) and social protection successfully conducted for local government bodies.
