– Groups of girls (and sometimes boys) are organized to act as advocates, to lead discussions on SRHR and child marriage, to do home visits, to monitor cases, and to undertake awareness-raising.
– Provided life skills sessions to adolescents (both genders), training in decision-making, communication, negotiation, etc.
– Used posters, pamphlets, radio programs, events, workshops, etc. to inform community members, parents, religious leaders about SRHR topics, legal provisions, dangers of child marriage, etc.
– Involved parents and community leaders to sensitize them about SRHR, to improve communication between adolescents and parents, to challenge norms of early marriage, etc.
– Holding advocacy workshops on inclusive SRHR, discouraging early marriage, influencing policy or local governance, etc.
